Is Wordpress Safety Of Any Significance To You?

You may well have heard all the buzz online about the attacks on WordPress security. Unfortunately this is no joke, and it needs to be taken very seriously, or all you've built could be hijacked or worse, lost to you.

I back up my blogs frequently using a free plugin WP DB Backup. If anything happens I will always restore my website to the settings. I use my site to be scanned by WP Security Scan plugin that is free and WordPress Firewall to block suspicious-looking asks to fix wordpress malware protection.

Protect your login credentials - Do not keep your login credentials where a hacker could find them. Store them offsite, and even offline. Roboform is for protecting them good , too. Food for thought!

I don't think there's a person out there that after learning just how much of a problem WordPress hacking is why not try this out that it is a fantastic idea to boost the safety of their blogs. Something I've noticed over the years is that when it comes to securing their sites, bloggers seem to be stuck in this reactive state.

Take note of your new password to the next time you sign in! I suggest the paid or free version of the software *Roboform* to remember your passwords.

Oh . And by the way, I talked about plugins. Make sure it's a safe one when you get a plugin. Do not install any plugin simply because the owner is saying on his website that plugin will help you do that or this. Use get a software engineer to analyze it, or perhaps a test site to look at the plugin. This way you'll know it isn't a threat for you or your business.
